Nova Cura Land Design offers ornamental landscape and permaculture design, as well as consultation and garden coaching services in Shelburne, Yarmouth and Queens counties in Nova Scotia, and virtually as well for those further afield.
Nova Cura Land Design is run by yours truly, Ilse Den Boer, and I thank you for visiting the Nova Cura Land Design website. This is the next step in making your vision for your property become reality.
After decades spent in the horticulture and agriculture industries a different path presented itself and I became a Certified Landscape Designer approximately 15 years ago (University of Guelph), and more recently completed the Permaculture Designer Certification (Geoff Lawton Permaculture Institute).
My experience in agriculture in particular has resulted in a strong passion for sustainable and edible landscapes such as permaculture systems and food forests, and I have been observing the increase in interest for these systems with great excitement and anticipation. At the same time I also love designing formal and cottage gardens. This is the variety that keeps this passion alive.
Thanks to all of the learning over the years I am able to provide you with a wide range of design styles for many sizes of properties and for varied uses, residential, commercial or homestead. Each client and property are unique, ensuring the work is continually captivating and challenging.
